Midreshet Ben Gurion, originally a university town is now a growing desert town.  Home to people of all backgrounds who have chosen to make the beautiful Negev their home. 

 

The town is also home to students from all over the world, professors, Israeli and international.  It has its own schools, supermarket, pool and best of all one of Israel's most loved views and nature reserve.

 

It sits on the edge of the canyon looking over into the Zin valley and from here many start their hikes into Avdat or Ein Akev.

 

Midreshet Ben Gurion is also home to the burial place of David Ben Gurion and his wife Paula.  It also hosts world famous festivals including the "Tel Hai Piano festival" and the high school "Adloyada" Purim festival.
